Current Honkai: Star Rail Banners
Version 4.1 runs from March 24 to April 21, 2026 in two phases. Hyacine's rerun ends at the Phase 1 cutoff on April 8, when Boothill's rerun takes her slot for Phase 2. Ashveil runs throughout the entire version.
The Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail event banners for Saber and Archer have been running since July 11, 2025 with no announced end date. These banners use a separate pity pool, so pity does not carry over to or from regular event banners. There are no boosted 4-stars; all 4-star characters have equal drop rates. Archer can be claimed for free at Trailblaze Level 3 or higher.
Should You Pull These Banners?
Pull verdicts based on endgame performance across all three content modes. Ratings match the tier list.
Ashveil is a Lightning Follow-Up ATK carry on The Hunt path with a high damage ceiling in the right team. He excels alongside Sunday, Tribbie, or Robin, and his kit is designed to reward players who also have strong Follow-Up ATK allies or summon-based units. If you have no dedicated Hunt carry and want something that scales well into endgame content, he is a solid pull. Players who already have Feixiao or another strong carry at E0 may find him redundant unless they want a second carry for dual-team content. His signature light cone improves performance but is not required.
See full build guide ›Hyacine is a top-tier healer and one of the strongest sustain options in the game. Her Wind / Remembrance kit provides meaningful healing and team utility that holds up across Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. If your account lacks Huohuo or Lingsha, pulling Hyacine is one of the highest-value investments you can make. She is also your only window to get her before a potentially long wait for the next rerun. Phase 1 ends April 8. This one has a hard deadline.
See full build guide ›Boothill is a top Break DPS and the best single-target Physical breaker available. His damage ceiling is very high when paired with Fugue and Ruan Mei in a Super Break composition. If you have those supports built, his Phase 2 banner (April 8–21) is one of the strongest carry investments in 4.1. Without the Super Break support cast, his value drops considerably. He does not require his signature light cone to function, but it meaningfully improves his output and break efficiency.

How HSR Banners & Warping Works
Honkai: Star Rail uses a pity system that guarantees you will eventually pull a 5-star. Here is everything you need to understand before spending Stellar Jade.
- Requires Special Star Rail Passes
- One featured 5-star at boosted odds, three boosted 4-stars
- 50/50 system: each 5-star has roughly a 50% chance of being the featured character; if you get a non-featured one, your next 5-star is guaranteed to be the featured
- Hard pity at 90 pulls, the absolute maximum without a 5-star
- Soft pity gradually increases your odds before the hard pity cap
- Pity count carries over between event banners
- Runs in three-week phases, two per version cycle
- Requires regular Star Rail Passes
- Seven standard 5-star characters in the pool, no limited characters
- Every 10 pulls guarantees at least one 4-star character or light cone
- After 300 total pulls on Stellar Warp, you can choose any 5-star from the pool. This counter never resets
- Good for spending Star Rail Passes that cannot be used on event banners
- Available to new accounts only, maximum 50 total pulls ever
- Guarantees a 5-star within those 50 pulls
- 20% discount: 10 pulls for the price of 8
- Uses regular Star Rail Passes
- Same 5-star pool as Stellar Warp
- Always clear this banner before it disappears. It is the best value in the game for new players
- Brilliant Fixation and Bygone Reminiscence: two permanent weapon banners
- Requires Special Warp Passes
- Featured signature light cone changes every three weeks alongside character banners
- Light cones can be equipped by any character, but only characters on the same path benefit from the unique ability
- Has its own separate pity counter from character banners
- Generally lower priority than character banners unless you specifically need a signature weapon

Honkai Star Rail Banner FAQ
-
Version 4.1 Phase 1 runs until April 8, 2026. That's when Hyacine's banner ends and Boothill's rerun begins. Phase 2, featuring Boothill and Ashveil (who carries over), ends April 21, 2026, when version 4.2 begins. Check the phase strip at the top of this page for a live reminder.

When you pull a 5-star on an event character banner, there's a 50% chance it's the featured character and a 50% chance it's a standard 5-star (Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, or Yanqing). If you "lose" the 50/50 and get a standard character, your next 5-star on that same banner type is guaranteed to be the featured limited character. This guarantee also carries over to future event banners. You don't lose it when a new banner starts.
-
Yes, pity carries over between all event character banners. If you have 60 pulls on the current banner without hitting a 5-star, those 60 pulls count when the next character banner starts. The same applies to the 50/50 guarantee: if you lost the coin flip on a previous banner, that "guaranteed next" status transfers to the new banner. Pity does not carry between different banner types. Character banner pity is separate from light cone banner pity.
-
Each pull costs 160 Stellar Jade. Hard pity hits at 90 pulls, meaning you're guaranteed a 5-star by then. If you account for the 50/50 and assume you'll lose it (worst case), you may need up to 180 pulls to guarantee the featured character, which costs 28,800 Stellar Jade. In practice, soft pity dramatically increases your odds from around pull 74 onward, so most players hit the 5-star before hard pity. Keep in mind Special Star Rail Passes (for event banners) and regular Star Rail Passes (for Stellar Warp) are separate currencies.
-
The Stellar Warp (standard banner) has seven 5-star characters: Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, and Yanqing. These same characters are also the possible outcomes when you "lose" the 50/50 on an event banner. After accumulating 300 total Stellar Warp pulls, you can claim a free selector to pick any of these seven characters.

Each game version lasts roughly 6 weeks and is split into two phases of about 3 weeks each. Each phase brings one new or returning limited character banner (and a corresponding light cone banner). That means banners rotate every 3 weeks, roughly 8–9 per year not counting reruns. New character banners always feature a brand-new character; rerun banners bring back a previously released limited 5-star.
