Skills

Basic Boltsunder

Deals Wind DMG equal to 50% of Feixiao's ATK to a single target enemy. Low priority in gameplay. Using her Skill is nearly always preferable since it immediately triggers a follow-up attack, but Basic ATK still provides a modest damage contribution when SP is tight.

50% of ATK
Skill Waraxe

Deals Wind DMG equal to 100% of Feixiao's ATK to a target enemy. Immediately afterward launches 1 instance of the Talent's follow-up attack against that target. The Boltcatch trace also raises ATK by 48% for 3 turns after using this, making it her primary damage-building action each rotation.

100% of ATK
Ultimate Terrasplit

Requires 6 Flying Aureus (not energy). Deals Wind DMG to a single target, up to 402% of ATK at base level. Launches 6 hits of either Boltsunder Blitz or Waraxe Skyward, each at 36% ATK, adapting to the enemy's Weakness Break status for a 15% multiplier bonus per hit. A final strike deals 96% ATK. Can reduce Toughness regardless of enemy Weakness type, and when the target is not Weakness Broken, Weakness Break Efficiency increases by 100%.

402% total cap ATK
Talent Thunderhunt

The engine of her kit. Feixiao gains 1 Flying Aureus for every 2 attacks by ally targets (Ultimate attacks excluded). After a teammate attacks, she immediately launches a follow-up attack against the primary target dealing 55% ATK Wind DMG. This can only trigger once per turn and resets at the start of her turn. Each follow-up grants a 30% DMG bonus for 2 turns. This is the core reason high-attack-speed teams like Robin, Topaz, and Moze amplify her damage so dramatically.

55% per follow-up
Technique Stormborn

Enters the Onrush state for 20 seconds, pulling in enemies within range and increasing movement speed by 50%. After entering battle, gains 1 Flying Aureus immediately. Deals Wind DMG equal to 200% of ATK to all enemies at the start of each wave (guaranteed CRIT). If more than 1 enemy is pulled in, each additional enemy increases the multiplier by 100%, up to 1000%. Outstanding for quickly charging Flying Aureus and clearing early-wave trash.

Ultimate and Talent are co-equal first priority, both directly scaling her biggest damage sources. Skill third for the follow-up proc it triggers. Basic ATK rarely matters at high investment.

Best Light Cones

#1
I Venture Forth to Hunt
I Venture Forth to Hunt
Her signature light cone. Provides CRIT Rate and the Luminflux effect, allowing her Ultimate DMG to ignore a portion of the enemy's DEF. Unmatched across all scenarios, especially on bosses where DEF ignore compounds into a significant multiplier gap.
Signature
#2
Worrisome, Blissful
Worrisome, Blissful
Excellent 5-star alternative. Increases CRIT Rate and Follow-Up Attack DMG directly. Also applies the Tame debuff to enemy targets, boosting CRIT DMG taken by all allies who hit them, a meaningful team-wide bonus in FuA compositions.
5-star alt
#3
Baptism of Pure Thought
Baptism of Pure Thought
Strong 5-star pick that directly raises CRIT DMG and overall DMG dealt. After using Ultimate, follow-up attacks gain DEF ignore for several turns. Pairs well with Feixiao's rotation since her Ultimate fires frequently.

#4
Cruising in the Stellar Sea
Cruising in the Stellar Sea
Reliable 5-star F2P option obtainable from the Herta Shop. Raises CRIT Rate and provides an ATK boost when defeating enemies. Solid budget 5-star that doesn't require any limited banner pulls.
f2p 5-star
#5
Swordplay
Swordplay
4-star budget option. Provides a stacking DMG bonus for repeatedly hitting the same enemy, a condition Feixiao trivially meets through her constant follow-up attacks. Superimposed copies make this a surprisingly competitive low-investment option against single bosses.

Cavern Sets
1
The Wind-Soaring Valorous
The Wind-Soaring Valorous
Her best-in-slot cavern set by a clear margin. The 4-piece bonus increases ATK and boosts Ultimate DMG after launching a follow-up attack, which happens constantly in her kit. Since her Formshift trace makes the Ultimate itself count as a follow-up, she reliably maintains the 4-piece bonus throughout every Ultimate sequence.

2
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
Strong alternative. Increases Follow-Up Attack DMG and ATK, which translates into improved Ultimate damage via the Formshift trace. Good option if you have well-rolled Ashblazing pieces but poor Wind-Soaring substats.

3
+
Eagle of Twilight Line (2pc) + Ashblazing Grand Duke (2pc)
2-piece hybrid option. Eagle of Twilight Line provides Wind DMG bonus while the Ashblazing 2pc adds Follow-Up ATK DMG. A competitive middle ground when neither full 4-piece set has ideal substats.

Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves

Inert Salsotto
Backup option providing CRIT Rate plus a 15% Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG bonus once CRIT Rate reaches 50%, a threshold Feixiao clears easily with a proper build. Notably synergizes with both her follow-ups and Ultimate simultaneously.

Eidolons

E 1
Skyward I Quell
After launching Boltsunder Blitz or Waraxe Skyward, increases Ultimate DMG by an amount equal to 10% of the original DMG, stacking up to 5 times and lasting until the end of the Ultimate action. Since her Ultimate launches 6 hits of these attacks, she almost always reaches the full 5 stacks, making this a consistent ~50% damage amplifier on her Ultimate output.
High Pull Value
E 2
Moonward I Wish
In the Talent's effect, for every 1 instance of follow-up attack launched by ally targets, Feixiao gains 1 point of Flying Aureus (previously 1 per 2 ally attacks). This effect can trigger up to 6 times per turn. Drastically accelerates her Ultimate frequency, especially in FuA-heavy teams where allies proc follow-ups constantly.
Game Changer
E 3
Starward I Bode
Ultimate Lv. +2 (max 15) and Basic ATK Lv. +1 (max 10). The Ultimate level increase provides a meaningful scaling bump on her most powerful ability, particularly relevant since the Ultimate multipliers grow with each level upgrade.
Solid Upgrade
E 4
Stormward I Hear
The Talent follow-up attack gains 100% increased Toughness Reduction, and when it launches, this unit's SPD increases by 8% for 2 turns. More consistent Toughness breaking and a cycling SPD buff are useful quality-of-life improvements that improve action economy. Good but not transformative by itself.
Good Passive
E 5
Heavenward I Leap
Skill Lv. +2 (max 15) and Talent Lv. +2 (max 15). Both the Skill and Talent are core parts of her rotation, so improved scaling on both is a welcome incremental boost to her overall damage output each turn.
Incremental
E 6
Homeward I Near
Increases the All-Type RES PEN of Ultimate DMG by 20%. Talent follow-up attack DMG is now considered Ultimate DMG as well, and its DMG multiplier increases by 140%. This converts every Talent follow-up into a pseudo-Ultimate hit with RES penetration, representing an enormous total damage spike, roughly doubling her output compared to E0 in simulation benchmarks.
Massive Upgrade

Major Traces

Heavenpath
Ascension 2
When battle starts, gains 3 points of Flying Aureus. At the start of a turn, if no follow-up attack was launched via Talent in the previous turn, this counts as 1 toward the attacks required to gain Flying Aureus. Ensures she enters combat already halfway to her first Ultimate and provides a passive ramp even in turns without ally attacks.
Formshift
Ascension 4
When using Ultimate to deal DMG, it is considered a follow-up attack. Follow-up attacks' CRIT DMG increases by 36%. This is her most impactful passive trace. It unlocks the synergy between her Ultimate and all follow-up attack buffs (Duran, Wind-Soaring Valorous, Worrisome Blissful) and dramatically boosts her entire damage output.
Boltcatch
Ascension 6
When using Skill, increases ATK by 48% for 3 turns. A massive ATK multiplier applied every Skill use that scales all follow-up attacks and her Ultimate. Consistently maintained throughout her rotation since Skill is her primary SP action, making her stat targets notably more achievable.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Feixiao performs well with Cruising in the Stellar Sea or Swordplay at lower investment levels. Her signature (I Venture Forth to Hunt) is a meaningful upgrade thanks to the Luminflux DEF-ignore effect, but you can clear all endgame content at E0 without it. Worrisome, Blissful and Baptism of Pure Thought are strong middle-ground options if you already own them.
Feixiao gains 1 Flying Aureus for every 2 attacks by ally targets. She needs 6 stacks to activate her Ultimate and can hold up to 12. The Heavenpath trace starts each battle with 3 stacks already loaded. In practice: fill your team with high-attack-speed characters (Robin's action advance, Topaz's Numby procs, Moze's follow-ups, March 7th's Shifu enhanced attacks) and she will reach 6 stacks within 1–2 full action cycles.
Yes, but Flying Aureus generation slows down significantly without heavy-attack teammates. Standard support characters like Ruan Mei and Pela still work and contribute offensive value. The loss is in stack accumulation speed. Her Ultimate fires less frequently without FuA allies triggering her Talent each turn. Teams without any FuA characters are fully playable in lower-difficulty content.
134 SPD is the primary target, letting her act twice before slower enemies in many Memory of Chaos cycles. 143 SPD and 160+ SPD are stronger breakpoints that provide even more turns. However, Feixiao's Flying Aureus is driven by ally attacks more than her own turns, so CRIT stats and ATK should always take priority over chasing speed substats beyond 134.
Feixiao is primarily a single-target and light AoE DPS. Her Talent follow-up always focuses the primary target, and her Ultimate is single-target. She underperforms in Pure Fiction compared to dedicated AoE carries like Jade or Himeko. Her primary strengths are Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow, modes where concentrated single-target burst damage is the most valuable output pattern.
E1 (Skyward I Quell) is highly impactful, effectively boosting Ultimate DMG by up to 50% through its stacking mechanic. E2 (Moonward I Wish) changes Flying Aureus generation from 1-per-2-attacks to 1-per-follow-up, dramatically accelerating her Ultimate frequency in FuA teams. Both are excellent pull targets. E6 (Homeward I Near) roughly doubles her total damage by converting Talent follow-ups into Ultimate DMG with 20% RES PEN, spectacular ceiling but expensive at 6 limited copies.
