HSR Codes: Every Code That Works Right Now

Six codes work in Honkai: Star Rail right now — the permanent STARRAILGIFT plus five event codes worth 290 Stellar Jade and 4 Fuel combined. Livestream codes die in a day. Redeem first, read later. We verify every code against at least two maintained lists before it goes on this page; the 4.5 livestream codes are already dead, and they're listed below so you can stop hunting.
Active HSR codes (August 2026)
Codes are case-sensitive and one redemption per account — use the Copy button and you can't fumble it. Rewards land in your in-game mailbox, not your inventory.
Three more codes still float around other lists — NSJR3B97ZZ5X, STARRAILFATE2026 and BESTCOFFEEEVER — but our sources disagree on whether they still work, so they don't get the active label. Trying a dead code costs you nothing but an error message, so feel free.
How to redeem HSR codes
In game — the fast way once you're logged in:
- Open the menu (Esc on PC, the phone icon on mobile) and go to Options.
- Select Redemption Code, paste the code, and confirm.
- Open your in-game mailbox and claim the mail — rewards don't apply until you do, and mail doesn't keep forever.
On the web — works even when the game isn't installed, handy for redeeming from your phone browser mid-livestream:
- Go to hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift and sign in with your HoYoverse account.
- Pick your server and character, enter the code, and hit Redeem.
- Log in to the game and claim the mail from your mailbox, same as above.
Expired codes
The three 4.5 livestream codes died on August 15, 2026 — about a day after the Special Program aired, right on schedule. If a site still lists them as active, it isn't checking. The next batch arrives with the 4.6 livestream in mid-September.

How do I redeem HSR codes?
Two ways. In game: open the menu, go to Options → Redemption Code, paste, confirm. On the web: hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift — sign in, pick your server and character, enter the code. Either way the rewards arrive as mail in your in-game mailbox, and you have to claim them there before the mail expires.
Why is my HSR code not working?
The usual suspects, in order of likelihood: the code expired (livestream codes die in about a day), you already redeemed it on this account — codes are one per account, not per character — you typed it wrong (codes are case-sensitive; SunsweptRobin is mixed case, which is what the Copy buttons above are for), you picked the wrong server on the web page, or your account is too new — a fresh account has to finish the opening sequence before redemption unlocks.
How often do new HSR codes come out?
The reliable source is the version livestream, roughly every six weeks: each Special Program drops three 100-Stellar-Jade codes that expire about a day later. Between livestreams, HoYoverse posts occasional event, anniversary, and collab codes with longer lifespans — that's what OMEGA, FAREWELL, and friends are. The next batch should come with the 4.6 Special Program in mid-September; Version 4.6 lands September 27/28.
Do HSR codes expire?
Almost all of them. Livestream codes last about 24 hours; event codes usually run days to weeks, often with no announced deadline. The one durable exception is STARRAILGIFT, the permanent-so-far starter code. The rule that never fails: if a code is live right now, redeem it right now.
Do HSR codes work on every server and platform?
Codes work on PC, mobile, and PlayStation alike, and on the America, Europe, Asia, and TW/HK/MO servers — the mainland China server uses its own system. Each code redeems once per account. Rewards go to the character on the server you selected, via the in-game mailbox.
