Basic Thorns of the Abyss

Deals Imaginary DMG to a single target equal to 50% of Luocha's ATK. Primarily used for SP regeneration rather than meaningful damage output. Avoid spamming; use his Skill whenever possible.

50% of ATK
Skill Prayer of Abyss Flower

Immediately restores the target ally's HP by 40% of Luocha's ATK + 200 and grants Luocha 1 stack of Abyss Flower. Additionally, when any ally's HP percentage drops to 50% or lower, this Skill effect is automatically triggered on that ally for free (without consuming Skill Points). This auto-trigger can occur once every 2 turns.

40% ATK + 200 HP
Ultimate Death Wish

Removes 1 buff from all enemies and deals Imaginary DMG equal to 120% of Luocha's ATK to all enemies. Also grants Luocha 1 stack of Abyss Flower. The dispel effect is especially valuable against enemies that buff themselves with damage reduction or defensive effects.

120% AoE ATK
Talent Cycle of Life

When Abyss Flower reaches 2 stacks, Luocha consumes all stacks to deploy a Field against the enemy. While the Field is active, whenever any enemy in the Field is attacked by an ally, the attacking ally's HP is restored by 12% of Luocha's ATK + 60. The Field lasts for 2 turns and is dispelled if Luocha is knocked down. This passive healing makes Luocha a uniquely powerful solo healer.

12% ATK + 60 per hit
Technique Mercy of a Fool

After the Technique is used, the Talent will be immediately triggered at the start of the next battle, deploying his Abyss Flower Field from turn one without needing to spend any turns building stacks. This is excellent for ensuring passive healing is active from the very first exchange of a fight.

Skill is Luocha's largest healing source and the auto-trigger is tied to its level. Talent field healing also scales and should come second. Ultimate provides AoE damage and dispel so level it third. Basic ATK is only used for SP and should be left at level 1.

Best Light Cones

#1
Echoes of the Coffin
Echoes of the Coffin
His signature and clear best-in-slot. Increases ATK (which scales all healing), recovers Energy whenever he attacks enemies, and grants all allies a SPD buff after Luocha uses his Ultimate. No other light cone combines healing output with team utility this efficiently.

#2
Night of Fright
Night of Fright
Excellent alternative. Increases Energy Regen Rate and provides extra healing. The stacking ATK buff granted to allies with lower HP synergizes well with Luocha's auto-trigger threshold at 50% HP.

#3
Time Waits for No One
Time Waits for No One
Boosts HP which increases survivability and Outgoing Healing. Also deals bonus DMG to a random enemy whenever an ally attacks while the wearer is alive. Good option if already owned from a previous banner.

Cavern Sets
1
Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder
Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder
Luocha's general best-in-slot cavern set. Provides CRIT DMG and benefits teams with CRIT DPS units since Luocha almost always pairs with damage dealers that scale off critical hits. If your team has a different primary DPS, this is still strong as the CRIT DMG boost applies to Luocha's own Ultimate damage as well.

Passerby of Wandering Cloud (2pc) + Messenger Traversing Hackerspace (2pc)
Passerby of Wandering Cloud (2pc) + Messenger Traversing Hackerspace (2pc)
Second best overall setup. Passerby 2pc provides Outgoing Healing bonus while Messenger 2pc grants a Speed bonus. Together these two sets cover both of Luocha's main priorities: healing output and action economy. Good choice when building for maximum healing consistency.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat
Musketeer of Wild Wheat
Reliable early-game set that increases ATK% (boosting healing) and Speed. A solid foundation to use while farming more specialized sets, and perfectly serviceable in most content if well-rolled on substats.

Planar Ornament Sets
1
Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding
Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding
Best planar set for Luocha. Provides Outgoing Healing bonus and Speed. The Outgoing Healing bonus scales further as Luocha's Speed increases, rewarding investment in both stats simultaneously. This set has strong synergy with speed-breakpoint builds.

2
Broken Keel
Broken Keel
Strong choice for teams built around CRIT DPS. Provides Effect RES and grants allies a 10% CRIT DMG bonus when Luocha's Effect RES is at 30% or higher, an excellent team buff. DoT-based teams cannot take advantage of the CRIT DMG buff, so this is best reserved for CRIT-scaling carry teams.

3
Fleet of the Ageless
Fleet of the Ageless
Provides HP% for more survivability and grants party members a 8% ATK bonus when Luocha reaches 120 SPD (an easily cleared threshold). Solid choice when the team benefits more from ATK% than CRIT DMG.

Eidolons

E 1
Ablution of the Quick
While the Field is active, ATK of all allies increases by 20%. A powerful team-wide offensive buff that activates automatically during the field uptime Luocha already maintains most of the time. Effectively turns him from a pure healer into a partial offensive support.
High Pull Value
E 2
Bestowal From the Pure
When his Skill is triggered, if the target ally's HP is lower than 50%, Luocha's Outgoing Healing increases by 30%. If the target ally's HP is at 50% or higher, the ally receives a Shield absorbing DMG equal to 18% of Luocha's ATK + 240 for 2 turns. Adds a shield layer on top of healing, significantly improving survivability during dangerous encounters.
Solid Upgrade
E 3
Surveyal by the Fool
Skill level +2 (max 15) and Basic ATK level +1 (max 10). The Skill level increase directly boosts his primary healing output, the most important ability to level. A meaningful quality-of-life upgrade for extended fights.
Skill Level Boost
E 4
Heavy Lies the Crown
When Luocha's Field is active, enemies become Weakened and deal 12% less DMG. A solid defensive debuff that reduces incoming damage across all enemies simultaneously during field uptime, easing survival in harder content.
Defensive Passive
E 5
Cicatrix 'Neath the Pain
Ultimate level +2 (max 15) and Talent ATK level +2 (max 15). Both the field healing scaling (Talent) and the AoE damage/dispel output (Ultimate) increase. The Talent level boost meaningfully improves field healing per hit, making this a worthwhile upgrade for healers.
Incremental
E 6
Reunion With the Dust
When Ultimate is used, there is a 100% fixed chance to reduce all enemies' All-Type RES by 20% for 2 turns. A universal RES shred that benefits every ally regardless of their element, turning Luocha into a genuine offensive support on top of his healing role. Excellent in teams with multiple damage dealers hitting different elements.
Offensive Support Upgrade

Major Traces

Sanctified
Ascension 2
When any enemy in the Field is attacked by an ally, all allies (except the attacker) restore HP equal to 7% of Luocha's ATK + 93. This augments the field healing to benefit the entire team simultaneously rather than only the attacker, dramatically improving overall HP sustain in multi-target scenarios.
Through the Valley
Ascension 4
The chance to resist Crowd Control debuffs increases by 70%. This trace is crucial for keeping Luocha active in fights where enemies spam Freeze, Entangle, or other CC effects. A silenced healer cannot deploy his field or use his auto-trigger, so this resistance directly translates to team survivability.
Cleansing Revival
Ascension 6
When the Skill's effect is triggered (including the auto-trigger), removes 1 debuff from the target ally. Every time Luocha heals someone (whether manually or automatically), they also get a debuff removed. This passive cleanse makes Luocha a powerful choice against debuff-heavy enemies without requiring any additional actions.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Luocha performs well with Post-Op Conversation (4-star, Herta Store) or Shared Feeling (4-star, gacha) at lower investment. Echoes of the Coffin provides ATK, energy recovery, and a team SPD buff, but these are not required to clear all endgame content. Night of Fright is an excellent alternative for players with other 5-star Abundance light cones.
Luocha gains 1 stack of Abyss Flower from his Skill and 1 from his Ultimate. When he reaches 2 stacks, both are consumed to automatically deploy his healing Field. While the Field is active, every time any ally attacks an enemy inside the field, the attacker recovers HP equal to 12% of Luocha's ATK + 60. With the Ascension 2 trace (Sanctified), all other allies also heal for 7% ATK + 93 simultaneously. Using the Technique before a fight starts the battle with the field already deployed.
Yes. This is his primary strength. Luocha is one of the best solo healers in the game due to his passive field healing, auto-Skill trigger at 50% HP, and Cleansing Revival trace removing debuffs on heals. He keeps an entire team alive without consuming turns, meaning you can run three pure DPS or support units alongside him without any second sustain needed. In most endgame content, Luocha alone is sufficient sustain.
Aim for any Speed breakpoint above 135 SPD. More Speed means Luocha takes more actions, generating Abyss Flower stacks faster to keep his field active as much as possible. Speed also boosts the Outgoing Healing bonus from Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding. Going below 120 SPD is not recommended as it risks the field expiring before Luocha can refresh it. Prioritize Speed over ATK% if you have to choose between them in substats.
Luocha works in Pure Fiction primarily because of his healing and buff-removal capabilities. His Ultimate strips buffs from all enemies, which can disrupt enemy self-buffing mechanics. However, dedicated AoE DPS units are more valuable for clearing Pure Fiction quickly, so Luocha is typically slotted in when survival is a concern rather than speed. His strongest endgame modes are Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow where single-target sustain matters most.
E1 is his most impactful eidolon: it grants all allies a 20% ATK bonus while the Field is active, essentially making him a half-harmony support on top of his healing. E2 adds a conditional shield and bonus Outgoing Healing which is very useful for harder fights. E6 adds universal 20% All-Type RES reduction on Ultimate use, which transforms him into a genuine offensive support. That said, Luocha at E0 is already extremely strong and pulling eidolons is optional for most players.
