Basic Fiddle... Fissured Memory

Deals Fire DMG equal to 50% of The Dahlia's ATK to one designated enemy. Low priority in normal gameplay, but can be used to conserve Skill Points while still acting each turn.

50% of ATK
Skill Lick... Enkindled Betrayal

Deploys a Zone that lasts for 3 of The Dahlia's turns. Deals Fire DMG equal to 80% of ATK to one designated enemy and their adjacent targets. While the Zone lasts, increases all allies' Weakness Break Efficiency by 50%. Toughness Reduction taken by enemy targets while not Weakness Broken can also be converted into Super Break DMG, the core mechanic of her kit.

80% blast ATK
Ultimate Wallow... Entombed Ash

Inflicts a "Wilt" state on all enemies lasting 4 turns. Deals Fire DMG equal to 180% of ATK distributed evenly across all enemies. Enemies in Wilt have their DEF reduced by 8% and are implanted with Weakness of all Dance Partners' Types, guaranteeing Fire Weakness plus whatever element the other Dance Partner holds. 130 energy cost means this can cycle reliably throughout a fight.

180% AoE split
Talent Who's Afraid of Constance?

When entering combat, The Dahlia regenerates 35 Energy and becomes "Dance Partners" with the teammate who triggered combat (or the teammate with the highest Break Effect otherwise). When either Dance Partner attacks a Weakness Broken enemy, their Toughness Reduction converts into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 30%. After an enemy is attacked by the other Dance Partner, The Dahlia launches a Follow-Up ATK of 5 hits, each dealing Fire DMG equal to 15% of ATK to a random enemy. Each hit on a Weakness Broken target converts its Toughness Reduction into Super Break DMG at 100%. Triggers once per turn. This is the engine that makes The Dahlia the best Break support in the game.

100% Super Break mod
Technique The Heart Makes the Finest Tomb

Creates a Special Dimension lasting 20 seconds. Enemies within will not actively attack. After entering combat with enemies in the Dimension, immediately deploys her Skill's Zone and converts the combat-triggering Toughness Reduction into 1 instance of Super Break DMG at 60% against Weakness Broken targets. Only 1 Dimension Effect can exist at a time; note possible conflict with other Zone-type effects.

#1
Never Forget Her Flame
Never Forget Her Flame
Her signature. Provides a rare 32% Break DMG multiplier, one of the only sources of this stat in the game alongside Fugue's E4. Also increases Break Effect by 60% and recovers 1 Skill Point when she applies Weakness, significantly easing Skill Point economy for SP-hungry partners like Firefly.
66.4% usage
#2
Long Road Leads Home
Long Road Leads Home
Strong limited 5-star alternative. 60–100% Break Effect and inflicts "Charring" on Weakness Broken enemies to increase Break DMG taken by up to 30% for 2 turns. Requires 67% Effect Hit Rate. Fugue can hold her own signature in this setup.
alternative
#3
Lies Dance on the Breeze
Lies Dance on the Breeze
Cipher's signature. Offers 18% SPD and a 24% DEF Reduction debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. Requires reaching 170 SPD and about 40% Effect Hit Rate. Strong overall team amplification and a solid pick if you already own it.
alternative
#4
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
Best F2P option from Stellar Warp. Applies DEF Reduction via Ensnare to enemies hit. Needs 67% Effect Hit Rate at S5 to guarantee application. Cannot stack but is reliable enough at high superimposition. Used by 15.15% of players.
f2p best
#5
Solitary Healing
Solitary Healing
Available from Herta's Store. Provides 20–40% Break Effect and buffs DoT after Ultimate. Not a perfect fit thematically but the Break Effect stat is directly useful, and it is easy to obtain without gacha. Used by 6.53% of players.

#6
Holiday Thermae Escapade
Holiday Thermae Escapade
Battle Pass light cone. Increases DMG dealt by 16–32% and inflicts Vulnerability on attacked targets for 10–16% more DMG taken. Weaker than Resolution at equal superimposition but doesn't require Effect Hit Rate. A decent budget bridge option.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
Best-in-slot cavern set by a wide margin. The 4-piece bonus ignores 10% of the enemy's DEF when Break Effect is 150% or higher. At 250% Break Effect, Super Break DMG additionally ignores 15% DEF. The Dahlia hits both thresholds comfortably and deals meaningful Super Break DMG herself, especially against Weakness Broken targets.

2
Eagle of Twilight Line
Eagle of Twilight Line
After using Ultimate, action is Advanced Forward by 25%. Useful for getting her Zone back up faster, applying Weakness Implants more frequently, and cycling into her Ultimate again for more DEF reduction uptime. Used by 3.4% of players as an alternative to Iron Cavalry.
4-piece
3
Thief of Shooting Meteor
Thief of Shooting Meteor
Provides 32% Break Effect total and regenerates 3 Energy upon inflicting Weakness Break. Useful if Weakness Breaks are frequent in your setup. The Break Effect alone makes this a usable 2-piece mix option even when the 4-piece bonus is unreliable.
4-piece or 2-piece mix
Planar Ornament Sets
1
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern
Best planar set for The Dahlia. Provides 6% SPD and, when she hits enemies with Fire Weakness, increases her Break Effect by 40% for 1 turn. Since her Ultimate implants Fire Weakness on all enemies, she can continuously activate the set bonus herself. Synergizes directly with her core mechanics.
2-piece 94.3% player usage
2
Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
Provides 16% Break Effect plus an extra 20% when SPD reaches 145 or higher. Slightly weaker than Forge overall, missing 6% SPD and 4% Break Effect at peak, but a strong alternative if Forge pieces have poor substats.
2-piece
3
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Provides 5% Energy Regen Rate and increases the ATK of the first character in lineup by 12%. If your Break DPS converts ATK into Break Effect (Firefly, Rappa), this offers modest team support. A reasonable option if neither Forge nor Talia pieces are available with good rolls.

Best Teams for The Dahlia

The Dahlia is a Break-exclusive support. She provides no value outside of Break teams, but within them she is completely irreplaceable. Always pair her with at least one dedicated Break DPS. Her Dance Partner mechanic favors the teammate with the highest Break Effect.

The apex Break team. The Dahlia fixes all of Firefly's E0 weaknesses: no more inflated Toughness bar issues, no Skill Point drought, no Ultimate downtime. Firefly's Enhanced Skills refund 10% Energy via The Dahlia's A6 trace, allowing near-zero Ultimate downtime. Fugue provides additional Break DMG amplification. Lingsha heals and contributes her own Break damage, also triggering The Dahlia's A2 break effect sharing.

Eidolons

E 1
When a Bud Readies to Bloom
The Talent's Super Break DMG multiplier normally applied to "Dance Partners" now applies to all ally characters, with Dance Partners additionally receiving a +40% boost (total 100% for them). After Dance Partners use an attack, they deal additional fixed Toughness Reduction equal to 25% of the enemy's Max Toughness (minimum 10, maximum 300). Resets per enemy on kill. This E1 dramatically accelerates Weakness Breaks against high-Toughness bosses and is the strongest Eidolon to consider purchasing alongside E0.
Highest Priority
E 2
Fresh, Ethereal, and Beloved
While The Dahlia is on the field, all enemies' All-Type RES decreases by 20%. When an enemy enters the field, immediately inflicts "Wilt" on them for 3 turns. The permanent 20% RES PEN is a strong team-wide amplifier, and the auto-Wilt on new enemies is particularly impactful in Pure Fiction where enemies constantly respawn and would otherwise be without the DEF reduction debuff.
Strong Upgrade
E 3
Pity Its Petals Thin as Mist
Ultimate Lv. +2 (max 15) and Basic ATK Lv. +1 (max 10). The Ultimate level increase translates to higher Wilt DEF reduction and better AoE DMG. Incremental improvement; the passive buffs from E1 and E2 are far more impactful.
Incremental
E 4
Pity Its Heart Gnawed by Worms
Increases the number of DMG instances from the Talent's Follow-Up ATK by 5 (total 10). Upon each use, increases DMG taken by all enemies by 12% for 2 turns. More Toughness Reduction hits and a meaningful vulnerability stacking. Good 4th Eidolon but not worth targeting independently unless going for E6.
Good Passive
E 5
Fallen, Decayed, and Despised
Skill Lv. +2 (max 15) and Talent Lv. +2 (max 15). The Talent level increase is the most notable, improving the Super Break DMG output from her Follow-Up ATK. Solid but not a reason to push for E5 in isolation.
Incremental
E 6
And Yet, Always, Deathly Beautiful
Increases Dance Partners' Break Effect by 150%. When using the Talent's Follow-Up ATK, advances the next action of all Dance Partners by 20%. Despite dilution at high Break Effect totals, the raw increase is still enormous. The 20% Action Advance enables even tighter Break loop timing. Combined with E4, the team's damage ceiling reaches extreme levels, but this is a pure whale investment given the cost of 6 limited 5-star copies.
Maximum Ceiling

Major Traces

Yet Another Funeral
Ascension 2
When entering combat, increases other characters' Break Effect by an amount equal to 24% of The Dahlia's Break Effect plus 50%, lasting 1 turn. Triggers again for 3 turns when The Dahlia receives healing or a Shield from a teammate. Cannot trigger repeatedly in one turn. At 200% personal Break Effect, this grants allies a minimum of 98% extra Break Effect on entry, making this a massive passive team buff especially when sustains provide healing or shielding.
Lament, Lost Soul
Ascension 4
When using the Talent's Follow-Up ATK, recovers 1 Skill Point for allies. Can trigger once for every 2 Follow-Up ATKs used. This effectively makes The Dahlia Skill Point positive over the course of a fight when she uses her Basic ATK each turn, directly addressing the SP hunger that has historically limited Break DPS units like Firefly.
Outgrow the Old, Espouse the New
Ascension 6
When an ally adds Weakness to an enemy, that ally's SPD increases by 30% for 2 turns. If a Fire ally implants a Weakness when attacking, additionally deals 20 fixed Fire Toughness Reduction to every implanted target and regenerates 10% of Max Energy (capped at 50% total per trigger). This trace is essentially a permanent SPD buff and Energy battery for Firefly, making it the single most Firefly-boosting Bonus Trace in the game.

Frequently Asked Questions

Her signature, Never Forget Her Flame, provides the rare Break DMG Dealt increase stat and recovers Skill Points, both directly useful in her kit. It is a meaningful upgrade over alternatives, but Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is a strong F2P option from Stellar Warp. The Dahlia functions well without her signature in normal endgame content.
The Zone lasts for 3 of The Dahlia's turns, decreasing by 1 at the start of each of her turns. While active, all allies gain 50% Weakness Break Efficiency and any Toughness Reduction dealt to non-Weakness Broken enemies is also converted into Super Break DMG. Keep the Zone up by using her Skill regularly. Her Technique can preload the Zone at the start of combat, and high SPD helps her cycle skills faster to maintain permanent uptime.
No. The Dahlia provides no meaningful value outside of Break and Super Break teams. Her entire kit is built around enhancing Toughness Reduction and Super Break DMG, which only matters for characters whose damage revolves around those mechanics. If you don't own Firefly, Rappa, Boothill, or Lingsha (as a Break DPS) at a decent investment level, The Dahlia won't have anyone to carry.
Yes. The Zone converts Toughness Reduction into Super Break DMG regardless of whether the enemy's Toughness bar is locked. This is the single most important thing her kit does: it fully bypasses the primary weakness of Break teams against enemies with Toughness Lock mechanics. Your Break DPS can deal Super Break damage at all times, eliminating dead turns entirely.
Aim for 160+ SPD. Higher Speed directly translates to more Zone uptime (since it depletes on her turns), more Follow-Up ATK triggers, and more Skill Point recovery via her A4 trace. Real-world player data shows an average of approximately 157 SPD among top-performing Dahlia users. There is no hard breakpoint to hit; more is always better within reason.
If you are a dedicated Break team player, E1 is absolutely worth considering. It extends the 60% Super Break multiplier from Dance Partners to all allies (with Dance Partners getting 100% total), and adds a massive one-time Toughness Reduction equal to 25% of enemy Max Toughness per enemy per kill cycle. Against high-Toughness Apocalyptic Shadow bosses, this is the difference between Breaking in one rotation or needing two, a transformative improvement. E2 is also strong (20% All-Type RES PEN for the whole team), but E1 is the priority.
