The premier Elation path support in Honkai: Star Rail. Yao Guang amplifies her entire team through a persistent Zone that shares her Elation stat, grants extra Aha turns via her Ultimate, and triggers additional Elation DMG instances from every ally attack through her Talent's Great Boon effect, all while recovering Skill Points after using her Elation Skill.
Deals Physical DMG equal to 45% of Yao Guang's ATK to one designated enemy and Physical DMG equal to 15% of ATK to adjacent targets. The Energy regenerated from Basic ATK increases to 30. Low priority in combat but generates Skill Points and can gain 3 Punchline while her Zone is active.
Deploys a Zone for 3 turns. While active, all allies' Elation increases by an amount equal to 10% of Yao Guang's own Elation. After Yao Guang uses Basic ATK or Skill, gains 3 Punchline. This is her primary buffing tool; keep the Zone refreshed at all times to maintain the Elation boost for allied Elation characters.
Gains 5 Punchline. Aha immediately gains 1 extra turn where a fixed amount of 20 Punchline is taken into account; this turn does not consume Punchline. Also increases all allies' All-Type RES PEN by 10% for 3 turns. The bonus Aha turn is a significant boost to the entire team's damage output and Punchline economy.
While Yao Guang holds "Certified Banger": After any ally uses an attack, triggers the "Great Boon" effect, dealing 1 additional instance of 10% Elation DMG of the corresponding type to 1 random hit target. If the attack consumes Skill Points, triggers Great Boon 1 extra time. If the attacker's Elation is lower than Yao Guang's, the DMG instance uses Yao Guang's Elation instead. This passive constantly multiplies team output without any action cost.
After using Technique, automatically triggers Skill 1 time at the start of the next battle without consuming Skill Points. This means the Zone is active from turn 1 at no cost. When Yao Guang is in the team, breaking destructible objects immediately grants Fortune Pouch, up to 8 per Earth Week.
Inflicts "Woe's Whisper" on all enemies for 3 turns; enemies under this state take 16% increased DMG. Deals 50% Physical Elation DMG to all enemies, then deals 5 additional instances of 10% Physical Elation DMG to one random enemy. After using this via the Ascension 4 trace, recovers 1 Skill Point for the team.
Yao Guang excels as a support for Elation path characters and any DPS that consumes Skill Points. Her Talent's Great Boon triggers on every ally attack, so high attack-frequency DPS units benefit most from her kit.
