The SPD bonus alone justifies this Light Cone. Without it, reaching 200 SPD requires very heavy substat investment.

Strong alternative when the opening action advance is less critical. Increases CRIT Rate by 8% and boosts all allies' SPD by 8% while Demiurge is on the field. Particularly useful in compositions where Cyrene is already fast enough and team-wide speed buffs provide more value than the personal advance.

Cyrene is best paired with at least 2 Chrysos Heir characters. They generate Recollection passively, enabling her first Ultimate faster, and each Chrysos Heir receives a powerful unique Ode buff from Demiurge that dramatically amplifies their kits. The signature becomes more impactful if you are targeting 200 SPD.
Cyrene needs 24 Recollection points to activate her Ultimate (12 in the post-Ultimate "Ripples of Past Reverie" state). She gains points from: using her Basic ATK (+1), using her Skill (+3), and when any ally with "Future" takes action (+1 per action). Her Talent grants Future to all allies and their memosprites after each of Cyrene's actions. Points can overflow by up to 27. The Ascension 4 trace also grants bonus starting Recollection based on Chrysos Heirs in the team, and E2 gives an immediate +12 at battle start.
Yes, but she performs significantly below her ceiling. Without Chrysos Heirs, she loses the starting Recollection bonus from Ripples Across Time, cannot apply the powerful Ode buffs that define her support identity, and generates Recollection more slowly. She still provides the True DMG Zone, the 10% team DMG bonus from her Talent, and the action advance from Vonwacq, all of which are useful, but her unique value proposition is built around Chrysos Heir synergy.
180 SPD is the primary target. It activates her Ascension 6 trace (Causality in Trichotomy), granting all allies 20% DMG bonus and granting Cyrene and Demiurge Ice RES PEN. With Sprightly Vonwacq, 180 SPD also gives her three actions in the first cycle. 200 SPD is the secondary target for more turns and more Ice RES PEN stacks. Prioritize Speed above all other substats until you reach at least 180.
E2 is the best stopping point for spenders. It grants 12 Recollection at battle start (nearly halving the turns needed to reach her first Ultimate) and increases True DMG Zone output based on how many allies Demiurge has buffed. E1 is also strong, providing 6 Recollection per Ode to Ego trigger and more bounce hits. E6 adds a full team 100% action advance on her first Ultimate use plus DEF reduction, transformative but expensive at 6 limited 5-star copies.
Cyrene's True DMG Zone scales with the number of DMG instances, making her excellent in high-hit-count compositions. She shines in Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow alongside Chrysos Heirs with powerful single-target Ultimates like Castorice and Aglaea. In Pure Fiction, she remains useful as a support but does not single-handedly enable the AoE burst that dedicated Pure Fiction carries provide. Her first-Ultimate action advance for all teammates is broadly valuable across all endgame modes.
