The 160 energy cost reflects how much power the Concerto state provides: a full team Action Advance, a massive flat ATK buff, Additional Physical DMG on every ally attack, and immunity to crowd control. Robin compensates by generating 2 Energy per ally attack through her Talent, meaning in busy teams like Feixiao or Aglaea she can passively earn enormous amounts of Energy even while in Concerto. No. Robin is a universal support comparable in power to Ruan Mei, and she works effectively in nearly every team that is not a dedicated Break team. She is strongest in follow-up attack teams due to her A4 trace granting additional CRIT DMG to follow-ups during Concerto, but she also excels in DoT teams with Kafka, action-economy teams with Sunday, and ATK-scaling DPS setups. Focus entirely on ATK% (for both her buff scaling and personal damage), Energy Regeneration Rate (to maintain Concerto uptime), and Speed (to act first). After hitting ATK and Speed targets, invest in HP% and DEF% for survivability rather than CRIT. This makes Robin one of the easiest support characters in the game to build.
E0 Robin is already one of the strongest supports in the game and clears all endgame content comfortably. E1 (Land of Smiles) is considered the best single-eidolon investment in the game by many players; 24% All-Type RES PEN for the entire team during Concerto is an enormous universal damage boost that requires no additional team building. If you are willing to spend beyond E0, E1 is an excellent stopping point. E4 (CC immunity and 50% Effect RES) is another strong point for quality-of-life in difficult content.
