Current Honkai: Star Rail Banners
Version 4.5 runs from August 26 to September 27, 2026 — a shortened five-week patch that ends when 4.6 starts. Phase 1 is live now: Robin • Summeretto, a new 5-star summer form of Robin, debuts alongside a rerun of Hyacine. The Fate/stay night collab warps for Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh still have no end date at all.
Light cone banner this phase: Rise and Sing (new, Robin • Summeretto signature) and Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky (Hyacine signature rerun), both until September 12.
The Fate collab returned on July 24, 2026 with two new Servants: Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh join Saber and Archer on renamed collab warps with no announced end date. All four banners share a single pity counter that is separate from regular event banner pity, collab 5-stars never enter the standard pool, and 200 combined collab pulls award a selector for one collab 5-star light cone. Best of all: the Fate Contract: Renewal event gives every player at Trailblaze Level 3+ a free choice of Gilgamesh or Archer — including leveling materials to around level 60 and 600,000 credits. Claim it before version 4.6 ends (listed November 11, 2026).

Recommended
Pull her at E0S0. Skip the sig. Robin • Summeretto is rated SS and is the correct pull of 4.5 for most accounts: her buffs adapt to whatever carry you field, so she upgrades the teams you already own instead of demanding a new one. Rise and Sing is a luxury on top of an already complete kit — bank those pulls for the next character. Phase 1 only, so the deadline is September 12.

Hyacine is rated SS and is the best healer in the game. If your account is light on sustain — no limited healer, or leaning on Gallagher and the standard pool — she jumps ahead of Summeretto as your priority pull: a top sustain lifts every team you build for years. If you already run her, Huohuo, or Lingsha, skip the rerun and bank the Jade. Ends September 12 with the rest of Phase 1.

Situational
Rin Tohsaka is rated SS and is the strongest reason to touch the collab warps — especially if you run Archer, who many accounts claimed free in 3.4 and who can still be claimed free right now. The collab banners use their own shared pity, separate from regular event pity, and there is no announced end date. That means zero FOMO: pull for her when your Jade allows it, not because a timer told you to. If you do not play Archer and have no attachment to Fate, your regular-banner Jade is better spent elsewhere.

Claim, Don't Pull
Do not spend a single pull on Gilgamesh — claim him. The Fate Contract: Renewal event hands every player at Trailblaze Level 3+ a free choice between Gilgamesh and Archer, with leveling materials to around level 60 and 600,000 credits included, claimable until just before version 4.6 ends (listed November 11, 2026). He is rated S+, which is outstanding for the price of free. If you already took Archer during the original collab run, the selector is your Gilgamesh ticket. Pulling for a character the game is giving away is the worst Jade value in 4.5.

Version 4.6 is expected to start September 27/28, 2026, when the shortened 4.5 ends. Pearl — a 5-star Ice character on The Elation — is the only character revealed so far. Banner order and dates are not announced; treat everything beyond the start date as unconfirmed.
Saving for Phase 2 or 4.6? Each pull costs 160 Stellar Jade. In the absolute worst case (no pity, losing the 50/50), a guaranteed featured 5-star costs 180 pulls (28,800 Stellar Jade). That assumes 90 pulls losing the 50/50, then 90 more for the hard-pity guarantee. If you already have a guaranteed 50/50 or carry pity from a previous banner, the cost drops significantly. Check your current pity in-game under Warp → Details — then run your exact odds in the warp calculator.

- Light cones can be equipped by any character, but only characters on the same path benefit from the unique ability

When you pull a 5-star on an event character banner, there's a 50% chance it's the featured character and a 50% chance it's a standard 5-star (Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, or Yanqing). If you lose the 50/50 and get a standard character, your next 5-star on that same banner type is guaranteed to be the featured limited character. This guarantee also carries over to future event banners. You don't lose it when a new banner starts.

Yes, pity carries over between all regular event character banners. If you have 60 pulls on the current banner without hitting a 5-star, those 60 pulls count when the next character banner starts. The same applies to the 50/50 guarantee. Pity does not carry between different banner types: character banner pity is separate from light cone banner pity, and the Fate collab warps use their own counter — all four collab banners share one pity pool, but it is completely separate from regular event banner pity.

Each pull costs 160 Stellar Jade. Hard pity hits at 90 pulls, meaning you're guaranteed a 5-star by then. If you account for the 50/50 and assume you'll lose it (worst case), you may need up to 180 pulls to guarantee the featured character, which costs 28,800 Stellar Jade. In practice, soft pity dramatically increases your odds from around pull 74 onward, so most players hit the 5-star before hard pity.

The Stellar Warp (standard banner) has seven 5-star characters: Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, and Yanqing. These same characters are also the possible outcomes when you lose the 50/50 on an event banner. After accumulating 300 total Stellar Warp pulls, you can claim a free selector to pick any of these seven characters. Collab 5-stars from the Fate warps never enter this pool.

Each game version lasts roughly 6 weeks and is split into two phases of about 3 weeks each. Each phase brings one new or returning limited character banner (and a corresponding light cone banner). That means banners rotate every 3 weeks, roughly 8–9 per year not counting reruns. Occasionally a version breaks the pattern: Himeko • Nova ran the full six weeks of 4.4, and version 4.5 is a shortened five-week patch.
